Description Kickstarted the era of classic muscle cars was arguably the 1964 Pontiac GTO. It combined Pontiac’s muscular 389-cubic-inch V8 with its lightest, redesigned, midsize, ’64 Tempest LeMans. This easy-to-build 1:24 scale Revell 2’n1 kit features some of the car’s best-remembered factory features, like the triple two-barrel “tri-power” carburetors, the four-speed manual gearbox and dual exhaust. Instructions included to convert the two-door “Post” coupé body into a hardtop. Optional road parts include a second bonnet, which has been cut out to accommodate the chrome-plated blower with two four-cylinder fans and intake manifolds. Other hot rod goodies are a raised rear suspension and special rims in the style of the eighties. Parts are also included to build the model in its original condition or as a road car. The 389 V8 engine with tri-power carburetors and optional twin four-cylinder blower are meticulously detailed plus an authentic interior with bucket seats and a finely crafted “four-on-the-floor” shifter – Tampo-printed redline tires. Includes an all-new decal sheet with multiple sets of custom stripes. Ages 12yrs .
