Description Barrel Install & Chambering Our gunsmiths will precision thread the barrel tenon true to the barrel bore centerline. We machine the barrel face and shoulder parallel to .0002″ or less. The chamber will be drilled and bored true to bore centerline, within .0002″. Then we will ream and polish the chamber to the appropriate caliber. Chamber head space will be set to near minimum specifications for best accuracy. We use only top quality reamers from Dave Manson and Pacific tool and gage, common calibers will all be removable pilot type. Heritage Arms maintains records of how many chambers are done with each tool to ensure they are resharpened or replaced in a timely manner.
