SlimPul® 16mm Sleeve (Pack of 20) – UFH Pipe Repair

One complete 16mm fitting uses one central coupling and two sleeves. A sleeve is placed onto each pipe end before the pipe is expanded and the coupling inserted. The 16mm pull-fitting jaw then draws the sleeves securely into position. The sleeves and couplings must be used as a matched 16mm set. They must not be combined with the 12mm SlimPul® components. The 16mm sleeves can be used with AmbiFlex® P16, TraffiPipe® T16 and AmbiFlex® M16. P16 and T16 pipe use the shared P16/T16 expanding head, while M16 must be prepared using its dedicated expander. Selecting the correct head is essential because the pipe constructions differ. The sleeves form part of a completed fitting measuring approximately 19mm in diameter. The slim profile helps limit the opening required when accessing pipework within overlay panels, screed or other restricted floor constructions. SlimPul® components are manufactured from corrosion-resistant PPSU and form the connection without rubber sealing rings. Each pack contains 20 sleeves. Because two are required for each joint, one sleeve pack is matched to a pack of 10 SlimPul® 16mm Couplings and provides enough components for 10 complete fittings. The connection must be fitted on straight pipework and pressure tested before it is covered or the surrounding floor construction is repaired.
