SlimPul® 16mm Coupling (Pack of 10) – UFH Pipe Repair

The SlimPul® 16mm fitting can be used with AmbiFlex® P16, TraffiPipe® T16 and AmbiFlex® M16. The correct expanding head must be selected for the pipe construction. P16 and T16 share one expander, while M16 requires its dedicated expanding head. The same 16mm pull-fitting jaw is then used to complete the connection. A complete 16mm SlimPul® fitting comprises one coupling and two matching sleeves. After the pipe ends have been cut square and correctly expanded, the coupling is inserted and the pull-fitting tool draws the sleeves into their final positions. The coupling and sleeves are supplied separately, allowing installers to replenish the individual components as required. The completed fitting is approximately 19mm in diameter, considerably slimmer than many conventional repair fittings. This reduces the amount of surrounding screed, panel or floor construction that must be removed. The fitting is manufactured from corrosion-resistant PPSU engineering plastic and does not rely on rubber sealing rings. Its internal profile is designed to minimise unnecessary restriction through the repaired section. The coupling can be used to repair damaged pipework or join compatible 16mm pipe lengths together. It must only be installed on a straight section and must not be positioned on or immediately within a bend. Once completed, the repaired UFH circuit should be pressure tested in accordance with the system and project requirements before the floor construction is reinstated.
